We sometimes feel like aliens on a planet where we are a minority. Keeping up with the neurotypical majority can be a frustrating and exhausting task. Discrimination2

Racism exists even within the Deaf community, there is a cultural divide that still lingers and separates Deaf people by the colour of their skin. The older generation know this only too well. Now, there exists an opportunity to educate younger Deaf people in being more culturally curious and willing to mix, because it’s already a small community and there’s no reason to separate it any further.
