As a pagan artist, I have a strong spiritual connection to nature which my practice aims to honour. Calling attention to the human connection, or lack there of, to the natural world, I explore the emotions and feelings that come with it.
My artistic practice is a coping mechanism for me and for others a window into the world of borderline emotions. Creating art to visualise my feelings is cathartic and a form of release. I aim to create work that highlights the fragility and resilience of the human mind with mental health conditions such as Quiet Borderline Personality Disorder and Generalised Anxiety Disorder. I am at the mercy of my strong emotions whether I like it or not which is both a blessing and curse.
Using organic materials as the subject and or source material, creates a more primal representation of work. I hope that my work will be among others that are trying to close the gap between humanity and nature.
