Karina Jones is an actor and aerialist who trained at Liverpool Hope University and The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

Karina trained as an aerialist at The National Centre of Circus Arts London and Green Top Circus, Sheffield.
Actor/Aerialist credits for Circus include: Weighting (Extraordinary Bodies), Terry Riley in C (Colston Hall), Taking Flight (West Midlands Creation Centre), Aerial Sicillienne (Unlimited), and performing as a soloist for the Cerebral Palsy World Games Opening Ceremony. Karina also took part in a circus residency in Circus Oz, Australia with Extraordinary Bodies. She was a recipient of the Jerwood Arts Live Work Fund 2021 to further develop her aerial practice.
Karina is also a theatre maker and trained as a director and writer with Extant Pathways.
In 2018, Karina has a local residency with National Theatre Wales and a research and development period supported by Sheffield Theatre/Ramps on the Moon to write and create her theatre and aerial circus piece ‘Blind Drunk in Llandudno’. In 2021, Karina was awarded a place on the Wise Children Writing for Live Performance course and was also commissioned by Hot Coal Productions to begin to develop a script for the screen. Karina is continue to write and create her own work.
Karina is also a Clore fellow, audio description consultant, and voice coach.
In 2020, Karina was the first visually impaired actor to go on as an understudy for a sighted character, which is said to be a bit of RSC history!
