I am a textile artist and photographer. I have qualifications in both subjects and used to teach photography. I draw inspiration from the natural world.
I aim to encourage people to be mindful and observe the world around them, to stop and marvel at the beauty of their environment.
Hopefully this will encourage people to look after their local area and the planet.
I like to concentrate on sections and different angles and simple and complex forms.
I also have an interest in sacred geometry, and identifying patterns in nature.
I encourage people to be creative, facilitating workshops for people who don't usually do art, or who lack confidence.
I use my photographs to produce handmade cards to sell, I currently have over 800 different images, many are produced in low numbers and can be framed due to their high quality printing.
I also write poetry, some of which I combine with my photographic images.
I am neurodiverse, have hearing issues.

I also like upcycling and using things I find to make sculptures in wood and would love to have an exhibition in a woodland.
