Arts Officer:
Rachel Stelmach | rachel@dacymru.com
Nia Tyler is from Ammanford, Carmarthenshire and is a fluent Welsh speaker. She enjoyed participating in school choir, shows and Eisteddfodau.
Music and singing have always been her passion but Nia decided to go to uni to study Psychology.
In her 3rd year Nia suffered a stroke. This has led to her becoming somewhat of an advocate for other stroke survivors living with acquired brain injuries. Despite dealing with her injury, Nia went on to work for Orchard Media as a Production Coordinator.
After a year, Nia chose to pursue a career as a singer.
Nia Tyler takes inspiration from pop, soul, a little sprinkle of country and loves a power ballad.
