Roy Bamford

Roy won First Prize at the Nuneaton Festival of Arts, 1970, (Sculpture), but relinquished his artistic career to train as an Aeronautical Engineer with the RAF.


Following a disabling incident, he was Medically Discharged.


This allowed him time to pursue his artistic leanings, and he has had several National Exhibitions. His work is much admired with collectors as far away as Oman and USA,


Roy was nominated for the 1994 Turner Prize.


Roy offers:- I use oils on canvas; and although my style is varied, I tend to navigate toward French Impressionism.


Pissaro and Morisot being up there in my favorite list.
