Maths by the DWP
They want you to think that 2+2 doesn’t = 4
Amongst other great ideas, the DWP think that they can remove 87% of people from the Daily Living Component of PIP. They are planning to do this by telling us that it doesn’t matter if you score two points in multiple categories that add up to the threshold required. No, if you can’t score at least 4 points in one category, you’re not going to qualify.
This is a terrible idea. Needing help in multiple categories should demonstrate that help is certainly needed but not if this government has its way.

This is still to be made legal so don’t panic just yet. Get informed and take action quickly.
