Author: Immersive Arts
Deadline: Monday 2nd December 2024, midday
Immersive Arts is a brand-new funding and support programme for UK-based artists, designed to help them grow their creative practice through immersive technologies—think virtual, extended, and augmented realities. Essentially, it’s all about breaking down barriers, making what can be an exclusive field of practice much more accessible to all.
With £3.6 million in funding available until 2027, Immersive Arts will support over 200 UK-based artists through three funding tiers:
Explore – If you have a creative practice but limited experience with immersive arts or tech, you could receive £5,000 of funding, support, and guidance to explore and spark new thinking.
Experiment – If you're ready to bring your ideas to life and test them with an audience, explore tailored workshops and secure £20,000 in funding.
Expand – If you are already working on an immersive arts project, you could receive £50,000 along with tailored mentoring and expert support to expand your work and present it to an audience.
The first round of funding opens on Thursday 17th October 2024, and is open for applications until midday on Monday 2nd December 2024.
