It is a difficult time with news of proposed cuts to disability benefits. In this post we have collected news and resources as well as links to petitions and template letters you can send to your MP.
Disability Wales have created a template letter that you can use to write to your MP - download the template here. You can find your MP's contact details here.
Scope have written an open letter to the Chancellor as part of their Cost of Cuts campaign. You can invite your MP to their Parliamentary Event here.

Local Council: Your local authority may have welfare Rights Advisors and Discretionary Payments. Many local authorities and third-sector organisations provide help with benefit applications and appeals. Some councils offer financial assistance for those in crisis through Discretionary payments.
