Warning Notes at Blaenafon Ironworks

A powerful immersive sonic experience of suspense and shifting sounds.

By Mark Anderson. Created in collaboration with Liam Walsh.

A captivating sound-world that comes alive through an ever-changing outdoor live performance. Using an ensemble of visually striking ‘instruments’ - gongs, bells, whistles and explosive events - Warning Notes gives a voice to the social and ecological alarm rippling across our planet. A hypnotic and playful invitation to contemplate our future together.

For everyone - from children to adults. Workshop and accessible performances available.

"A pulsing, gorgeous and threatening world woven out of sound sculptures and beautiful, rhythmic notes”

* 20 - 21 September - Blaenafon Ironworks, Wales

Taking place at the iconic Blaenavon Ironworks that built the industrial world from which we are now reaping the rewards of climate change and extreme social injustice, artists Mark Anderson and Liam Walsh, with dynamic creative collaborators Grug Muse (Welsh language poet and performer), Marega Palser (Dancer) create a hypnotic and at times playful show for all ages.
